The popular open air cultural event has already taken place on Rathausplatz in Vienna for the 27th time. With free admission, up to 5,000 people can find a seat here to enjoy the live broadcasts of cultural events on a 300 m² screen. You can enjoy classical music with renowned operas such as Madame Butterfly or films of live concerts by popular pop stars such as Ed Sheeran, Sting or Nena every evening for 65 days.
Culinary treats are also provided. International and national top chefs indulge you with a wide variety of dishes, ranging from fish and meat dishes to pasta and delicious snails.
Children’s programme & live music by local musicians
In addition to a varied cultural programme for adults, there has also been something on offer for children since 2018. At the Children’s Opera Festival in Rathauspark, your little ones can enjoy age-appropriate culture with funny children’s music productions.
