Where can I park my car?

15 reserved parking spaces for hotel guests are available at a fee of 18€/24 hours. They are located just 100m away at the Bauernfeldgarage. Please let us know in advance when booking your room whether you require a parking space. If you park in the street you should be aware that the whole 9th district is a short-term parking zone (weekdays from 9 am to 10 pm).

10 minute short-term parking is free (you need a 10min parking ticket), after that you pay 1 € for 30 minutes, 2 € for 60 min, 3 € for 90 min and 4 € for 2 hours which is the maximum parking time. You can buy parking tickets in newsagents, at gas stations, in ticket offices and at public transport system ticket machines.

How far from the hotel is the city center?

The famous Ringstraße which encircles the 1st district can be reached in 10 minutes by foot from the hotel. The center (St. Stephens Cathedral) is located 1,5km from the Hotel, approx. a 15-20 minute walk. You can also use the D tram on the Ringstraße. You will find the D tram station “Bauernfeldplatz” just two minutes from the hotel.

When is check-out time? Can I leave my luggage in the hotel?

Our check-in time is 2 pm and check-out is at noon. Luggage can be left in the hotel for as long as you want and it can be picked up at any time.

Where do I find the nearest public transportation?

The D tram station „Bauernfeldplatz“ is only 2 minutes from the hotel. This tram takes you to famous sights like city hall, Burgtheater and the opera house. The subway station „Schottentor“ on the U2 line can be reached in 4 minutes by foot. The U2 takes you to the exhibition center „Messe Wien”, to the „Ernst Happel-Stadion’“ (soccer/football and concert stadium), to the Prater park and fun fair, Karlsplatz, Museums quarter etc. in just a few minutes.

The U4 station „Roßauer Lände“ is an 8 minute walk from the hotel. The U4 takes you directly to Schönbrunn palace and the train station “Landstraße – Wien Mitte” where the CAT (Airport train) to the airport leaves.

How do I get to the airport? How long does it take?

The easiest way is to ask reception to order an airport taxi for you. The price for the airport taxi is around 40 Euros. Depending on traffic it takes about half an hour to get to the airport which is approx.

20 km away from the city center. You can also use public transport to get to the airport. Take the U4 to „Landstraße Wien-Mitte“ (3 stops). There you can take the airport train CAT (which also offers early check-in of your luggage). The CAT leaves every 30 minutes and takes 16 minutes to get to the airport independent of traffic.

You can also take the airport bus which leaves every 30 minutes from Schwedenplatz (take U4 for 2 stops).

We recommend the following restaurants and cafés near the hotel:

What are the breakfast times?

Breakfast buffet: 7 am to 10:30 am in the breakfast room

Early Bird Breakfast: 5 am to 7 am in the breakfast room or take away

Breakfast for late risers: 10:30 am to 1 pm in the breakfast room

Where can I do my shopping?

Exclusive shopping: Kohlmarkt, Graben, Kärntnerstraße, U4 Karlsplatz or D tram

Longest shopping street (high street shopping): Mariahilferstraße, U2 Museumsquartier

Food and flea market: Naschmarkt, U4 Kettenbrückengasse (flea market only open on Saturdays)

How far is the exhibition center “Messe Wien” and how do I get there?

Just walk 4 minutes to the U2 station “Schottentor”. Then take the U2 in the direction “Aspernstraße” and get off at the stop “Krieau”. It takes about 24 minutes.

I have an allergy. Who do I talk to about this?

If you want an allergy-friendly room you should tell us in advance when reserving or booking your room. If you have a food allergy, food intolerance or diabetes please let us know when you check-in. We will then adapt our breakfast buffet according to your needs.
